A beautiful place for a wedding. This was done in the Galena IL area. The bride and groom, as well as the entire bridal party were great to work with. Congratulations to them both.
This is one of the most photographed places in the USA. We had to get up at about 4:00 in the morning and drive 45 miles to be there before the sun came up. It was about 10 degrees below 0 when we arrived. But it was all worth it. Sunrise at Mesa Arch in Utah is a sight that everyone should experience.

One of my favorite shots. The skies were clear and it was cold, hence the milky way appeared.
This is a photo of the night sky above Moab Utah. The skies are really clear here but the moon was just a little too bright to see the Milky Way.

Cloudy days can be some of the best day for photos. We are in Utah for a couple of weeks. It was a cloudy day with chance of rain and snow so we were taking a lazy day in the room. My husband was napping and I was playing on the computer. He got up and said "the sun is out". It took us about a minute to hit the door and head up the mountains to Arches National Park. We were rewarded with an awesome sunset. And best of all no tourists. Great place to visit in the winter.
