I love to do still life photos that require some thought. This was made with a piece of posterboard torn to
simulate a mountain range. Another posterboard was used for a background with small holes torn in it for
stars. A blue gel was used behind the "mountains" and the egg was lit with an overhead light. I wanted to
do a little more with this but never had the chance. Maybe I can make the time soon.

It has been such a mild winter here in Northwest Illinois. We haven't had much snow at all but when I woke up last week there was just enough snow to seem like a wonderland. I had to grab my camera and capture the feeling. It was like a lace on the trees. This is directly across the street from my house. I love the snow.
